Rehydration morning smoothie, high in electrolytes.
Ingredients
200 ml coconut water
60 g avocado (1/2 medium)
100 g banana (1/2 large)
200 ml semi-skimmed milk
50 g Fat Free Yoghurt (Yeo Valley)
Instructions
Remove skin from avocado
Blend all ingredients until smooth
Notes
Coconut water is a natural rehydrating drink containing potassium, sodium, magnesium and calcium. During the First World War coconut water was used as an emergency intravenous hydration fluid.
